Eh Eh Ehh......

Sutherland, Sutherland, Sutherland, invented in 1528 and soon to be discoverd by the native Americans in 458965874125481AD, but it's not the sheep that matter, it's the people so lets take a look at the people of Sutherland Booyah, let's rock!

Basically if you've got any ideas for little Sutherland I want to hear them visitors to this Blog are also welcome to contribute, if nobody posts any ideas we'll have to copy them from little Britian(it must be fun wearing that fatsuit(Bubbles De Vere "Hippo like you belong in a Zoo!")). Sorry people we're not allowed to make it crude like the real little Britian, so child friendly ideas please. Try to think of something mundane, normal, and then take the mickey out of it!

One more thing, what's the next thing we're doing with yo Ruth? Was it the Video project or summang or nuthang?

Day 3 with the Lairg spanners

Day 3 in Lairg and we have some natural sculptures to make. first, we went out into ferrycroft woods, split up into 2 groups and made the tallest possible sculpture.

Karen, Charlie and Emmy's group working on theirs.

Our next challenge was to make the longest possible sculpture out of pine-needles!

That's most of us working on one end of the line.

Everyone pose!

Next we made some birds nests.

Karen's strong structure.

Bottand's one resting on a post.

Emmy's one complete with berries.

Next we made some machines(my idea:-(). Chloe Natalie and Emmy made a christmas tree taha shoots out presents. Karen and Charlie mader a new-age rainmaker. Ryan and Bottand made laser pinecones.

Next we came up with an imaginary creature(again the ryanocerious), and went into the woods to build it's home(wooden hut complete with magical labyrinth and gate).

Building the roof and walls.

Day 2 with the Lairg spanners

This was our second day at Lairg and we did the video project. Charlie brought in a bulls tusk/horn that we just had to use as a prop. During the brainstorming thy came up with the story of the Ryanocerious's horn. A poor crofter finds a horn which brings him good luck and.... come to the exhibition if you want to find out more! charlie and Karen were our camera(wo?)men
This is Chloe , our poor crofter, looking miserable.

Natalie, Botond and Charlie acting as the poachers who were hired by the crazy old man.

Ryan, as the Ryanocerious. I think that this photo speaks for itself.

The poachers telling the crofter about the crazy old man's plot.

Our entire cast takes a bow and I am filming them.

Day 1 with the Lairg spanners

here's emmy and gillian doing some mapwork

this is us looking at our map

Ryan and Bottand

Chloe poseing for the camera

charlie giving us a good thumb(s?) up

On our first day everyone had a good time(apart from lee, who left halfway during the first day) doing the derive apart from poor gillian who fell and badly hurt her knee:-(. The route took is through ferrycroft woods and then over the heather. We had a good look at some of the wildlife becausewe saw a dragonfly and a lizard. We ended up well away from the line and we didn't go through anybody's house(they wouldn't have let us anyway because some of us were soaking wet)!!!
