With the help of Edward MacKay and Gary Macmillan from the Helmsdale community council, the group installed their iron and copper star sculpture in the Helmsdale light garden.
The stars were hung from the copper wire so that they could move in the wind and as the metals came together, the stars began to sing!
Heather's star
The iron stars shone in the winter light of the late afternoon.
Podi's star
Joe's star
Connor's star
Ben's star
All stars!
Gary Macmillan and Edward MacKay from Helmsdale community council help out with the lights and installation - Many thanks!
This iron structure was made by John Duncan from Brora, he makes some beautiful winter decorations and put this aluminium frame together for us. Podi and Joe then wove the copper wore between the two sides from which the stars hung.
