The Timespan Youth programme ‘Ours’ is designed to engage and develop long-term relationships with young people who have limited access to artists or galleries in this remote area of North West Scotland; supporting them in developing and managing their own projects.
The programme is led by Timespan's artist in residence Ruth Macdougall - August 2007 - August 2009.

OK, the "exp" film season is over.
Call me dull but how about some good non-experimental films. A couple of comedys maybe e.g. Norbit, blades of glory, starskey and hutch e.t.c.
What im trying to say is show more well known films (E.G. e.g. ones that win baftas and that people just know) that people like and enjoy watching. O.K.?

The film club regularly shows well known , award winning films: Persepolis, The Kite Runner, Local Hero to name a few.
It's really good to get suggestions from you but I would encourage you to have a longer think. Challenge yourselves to find 4 films that you would really like to see but haven't already watched.
The experimental film season was also a bit of an experiment to see if the young people of Helmsdale were up for something a bit different..perhaps not.. Heima was beautiful! you really missed out.
